Lowcountry Land Trust is the guardian of the land and its inhabitants. It’s their duty to protect the wildlife, natural resources, and beauty of the Lowcountry. Founded in 1986, Lowcountry Land Trust has grown from a small community effort that rallied to protect an island on the Stono River to an institution that protects more than 150,000 acres.
